Puppy FAQ’s

Not at all—this is actually the most important time.
Puppies go through a critical socialisation window between 8–16 weeks. Positive experiences during this stage help them grow into calm, confident adult dogs.
We take every precaution to keep your pup safe, but delaying socialisation can lead to long-term fear, anxiety, or behavioural issues.
That’s why we focus on gentle exposure, age-appropriate play, and a clean, controlled environment—so your pup learns safely and happily.
-
To keep every puppy safe, happy, and healthy, please ensure yours is:
Healthy & Ready: In good overall health and feeling their best.
Vaccinated: At least 10 days since their first C5 shot.
Protected: Up‑to‑date on flea, tick, and worm treatments.
People‑Friendly: Comfortable around new humans.
Dog‑Friendly: Happy to meet and play with other pups.
Not sure if your pup checks all the boxes? Just drop us a line—we’re here to help!
-
We know young pups need extra care—that’s why we:
Start Indoors: Puppies under 16 weeks (or not fully vaccinated) stay in a dedicated, climate‑controlled room that’s cleaned & disinfected daily.
Gradual Outdoor Access: From 16 weeks (once fully vaccinated), they move to our fully contained outdoor area—never mixed with adult groups.
Controlled Environment: Unlike park‑based programs, our on‑site facilities dramatically reduce infection risk.
After‑Hours Prep: Puppy Pre‑School runs when the Club is empty, so every surface is freshly disinfected before your pup arrives.
Because peace of mind means knowing your puppy is protected—inside and out.

Absolutely—everyone’s welcome! We recommend up to two family members per puppy to keep the class focused, but children and extra carers are encouraged. Just give us a heads‑up if you need more than two seats

That’s totally up to you, but we recommend attending 2-3 times a week on consistent days whenever possible.
Dogs thrive on routine and familiarity. A regular schedule helps reduce stress, builds confidence, and gives your dog a sense of structure they find deeply reassuring.
Coming on the same days each week also means your pup will get to know our team and make lasting friendships with a familiar group of dogs, leading to calmer drop-offs and happier pick-ups.
Plus, consistent daycare sets your dog up for success if you ever need to book overnight care in the future.

Puppy parents should:
Have your puppy on a lead attached to a flat buckle collar or harness. (No stretch or extendable leads please)
A stash of their favourite puppy treats as a reward. The more high value the better.
Your Pups Vaccination certificates, flea and worming information if you have not already uploaded this with your booking.
Most Importantly: A hungry pup, please do not feed your puppy for at least 3 hours prior to commencement of class
