FAQs

  • We focus on calm dogs, not chaos. And dog parks… well, let’s be honest, they can be chaos!

The Belly Rub Club is a private club, where your dog is supervised at all times, all dogs are temperament tested and vetted before admission which allows us to prioritise safety and comfort, something that can’t be guaranteed at a public park or by other facilities that take dogs off-site for play.

  • Absolutely! We offer meet & greets as well as private tours by appointment, outside of daycare hours to avoid disrupting our Club Members. We’d love to meet you and your dog. Please get in touch to book a visit.

  • We are located in Rosehill, just off James Ruse Drive, a stones throw from Parramatta.

  • Yes! You’ll receive daily photo updates of your dog enjoying their time at the Club via the Gingr App, where you will see photos, video clips and progress updates.

  • We’re open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

    • Drop-off: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
(After 9:30, we no longer accept admission to help our pooches get settled into their groups and routine, as new introductions can often be too exciting!)

    • Pick-up: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
(Please let us know if you need a pick-up outside this window when booking.)

  • We offer limited early drop-offs from 7:00 AM and late pick-ups until 6:30 PM for a small fee.

To request extended hours, simply add it to your booking, or contact us directly if it’s unplanned.

  • We require all dogs to be up to date with a C5 vaccination.

    • Vaccinations must be completed at least 7 days before attendance.

    • We'll collect and track vaccination records at booking.

    • Your vet is welcome to send certificates directly to us for added convenience.

  • No matter how much you love your friends, some dogs (and humans) just don't enjoy playing for over 8 hours and thrive in solo or small group enrichment.

Enrichment helps dogs stay happy, calm, and mentally stimulated—especially in a daycare setting. It gives your pup a healthy outlet for natural behaviours like sniffing, chewing, foraging, and problem-solving.

Our enrichment Add Ons are designed to boost confidence, reduce boredom, and support better rest and focus throughout the day. Whether it’s a tasty Frozen Pupsicle, a Snuffle Mat adventure, or a quick training boost, each activity is tailored to support your dog’s individual needs.

These small add-ons can make a big difference—turning a fun day into one that also supports emotional regulation, learning, and wellbeing.

  • It's up to you how often your dog visits, however we recommend that a dog will be happier and better socialised by attending daycare at least 2 times per week on the same regular days —dogs thrive on routine, and regular visits help them feel safe, make friends, and stay calm and happy.

Ask us about our VIP Membership for regulars!

A structured schedule and stability helps reduce stress and sets a predictable pattern that dogs find reassuring. This also ensures they see a similar group of dogs on each day, leading to long term friends and calmer and happier pups when you pick them up.

  • Dogs thrive on routine. We recommend scheduling regular days to give them structure and help the dogs get used to their regular groups and friends to play with. This encourages cohesive, playful groups of like minded pups who are familiar with each other, maximising fun, safety and the comfort level of the dogs.

  • All new dogs start with a trail day which includes a temperament assessment to make sure they’re a good fit for the Belly Rub Club.

We ask that you arrive at 7:30 AM, just as we open, so your dog is the first to enter. This gives them time to explore the space and settle in before meeting any other dogs.

Once they’re relaxed, we introduce them to our friendly resident dog, Coco, along with treats, toys, and gentle encouragement to observe how they respond.

If they’re doing well, we slowly introduce them to a small group to see how they play and interact. Over the next few hours, we keep a close eye on how they adjust.

At the end of the assessment, we’ll let you know how they went. If they pass, they’re welcome to stay and enjoy the rest of the day!

We’ll also suggest the best days for your dog to attend, based on their personality and which dogs are in that day.

  • We do not accept any aggressive behaviour and if a dog is too anxious in a group environment, they may not be suitable for daycare. For any dog that may fail their initial assessment we can recommend further training to help with their fears.

For dogs who prefer only a small amount of group play our enrichment daycare may be more suitable. It may also be the case that we are able to accept your dog after some 1-on-1 training and a second assessment.

  • We ask that as much as possible all dogs are toileted before they arrive, especially as they can get excited on arrival and as soon as they see their friends.

Meal times start at 10am. If your dog eats breakfast & can not wait till 10am, please ensure they have eaten at least 1 hour prior to arriving, exercising immediately after eating could induce vomiting or more serious condition in your dog, like Bloat.

Additionally we recommended that the safest collars are quick release collars in case they were to get caught in something.

  • We adore dogs of all shapes and sizes! However, our boutique space is specially designed for small to medium-sized dogs. Admission is based on both size and temperament to ensure a calm, safe environment for all.

Puppies who are expected to grow into larger dogs are welcome to join our Puppy Daycare program—until they reach our size limit. When that time comes, we’re more than happy to recommend trusted local services that cater to larger, high-energy dogs.

  • Yes, absolutely! We’re happy to give your dog oral medication whenever they need it—free of charge.

  • The risk is very low, especially when dogs are up to date on their vaccinations (which we require). Just like going for a walk or visiting the dog park, there's always a small risk—but we do everything we can to keep your pup safe.

Our play areas are cleaned daily with vet-safe, eco-friendly enzyme products that protect dogs, humans, and the planet. We take cleanliness seriously—so everything stays fresh, sanitised, and ready for fun.

  • No. If a dog shows any signs of aggression, we remove them from our programs and recommend training. The Belly Rub Club is all about calm, friendly, social pups.

  • We do everything in our control to make sure dogs are injury free while in our care and this is a very rare scenario. However, accidents can and do happen. If anything happens, we’ll contact you right away using the emergency details you’ve provided. In urgent cases, we’ll take your dog straight to a vet.
