Calm, Not Chaos
What Is Puppy Day Care?
Not just playtime, pup prep for the real world.
The early months of your puppy’s life are when it all starts, their confidence, their curiosity, and how they’ll respond to the world as an adult dog.
Our Puppy Daycare Program gives your pup gentle, structured social time and real-world exposure to help them grow into a calm, confident adult dog, without the overwhelm.
Here’s how we build happy, well-adjusted pups:
Supervised social play with similar-age pups
Crate, toilet & impulse control basics
Exposure to sounds, sights, and textures
Handling for grooming, nail trims & vet visits
Tailored feedback & take-home tips for you
All puppy groups are kept separate from adult dogs until they have had all vaccinations and are ready, with rest breaks and a calm, safe setup to support healthy development.

Puppy FAQ’s

Not at all—this is actually the most important time.
Puppies go through a critical socialisation window between 8–16 weeks. Positive experiences during this stage help them grow into calm, confident adult dogs.
We take every precaution to keep your pup safe, but delaying socialisation can lead to long-term fear, anxiety, or behavioural issues.
That’s why we focus on gentle exposure, age-appropriate play, and a clean, controlled environment—so your pup learns safely and happily.

To keep every puppy safe, happy, and healthy, please ensure yours is:
Healthy & Ready: In good overall health and feeling their best.
Vaccinated: At least 10 days since their first C5 shot.
Protected: Up‑to‑date on flea, tick, and worm treatments.
People‑Friendly: Comfortable around new humans.
Dog‑Friendly: Happy to meet and play with other pups.
Not sure if your pup checks all the boxes? Just drop us a line—we’re here to help!
-
We know young pups need extra care—that’s why we:
Start Indoors: Puppies start indoors & stay in a dedicated, area that’s cleaned & disinfected daily.
Gradual Outdoor Access: When comfortable to head outside, they move to a fully contained outdoor area and only mixed with adult group if they are ready and comfortable.
Controlled Environment: Unlike park‑based programs, our on‑site facilities dramatically reduce infection risk.
Because peace of mind means knowing your puppy is protected—inside and out.

That’s totally up to you, but we recommend attending 2-3 times a week on consistent days whenever possible.
Dogs thrive on routine and familiarity. A regular schedule helps reduce stress, builds confidence, and gives your dog a sense of structure they find deeply reassuring.
Coming on the same days each week also means your pup will get to know us, and make lasting friendships with a familiar group of dogs—leading to calmer drop-offs and happier pick-ups.
Plus, consistent daycare sets your dog up for success if you ever need to book overnight care in the future.
Safety first, Always.
Worried about the unpredictability of dog parks or off-lead adventures?
You’re not alone—and we’ve built our entire approach to be the calm, safe alternative.
At The Belly Rub Club, we never take dogs off-site. All play, enrichment, and rest happens in our purpose-built, fully secured space—designed just for small dogs. No risky group walks. No overwhelming environments. Just gentle structure, trusted routines, and thoughtful supervision.
All dogs complete a temperament assessment before joining, so you’ll always know who your pup is playing with. And every session is overseen by qualified staff trained in dog behaviour and pet first aid.
We focus on more than just physical safety—we care deeply about your dog’s emotional wellbeing, too. From enrichment games to structured rest, we create a balanced day that supports calm, confident behaviour and long-term development.
Because you shouldn’t have to hope your dog is safe.
You should know they are.
