Not just playtime. Real-world puppy development, done properly.
The early months of your puppy’s life are critical. This is when confidence, social skills, and behaviour patterns are formed, and what they experience now shapes the dog they become.
Our Puppy Program is built on our Confident Puppy Pathway™, a structured system designed to shape calm, confident behaviour from the very beginning.
Through guided socialisation, enrichment, and real-world exposure, your puppy learns how to interact, explore, and settle without becoming overwhelmed.
Here’s how we do it:
Guided social interactions, not chaotic free-for-all play
Toilet training, crate, and early impulse control foundations
Exposure to everyday sounds, surfaces, and environments
Gentle handling for grooming, vet visits, and real-life situations
Ongoing guidance and take-home support for you
We keep our puppy groups intentionally small, with a maximum of 5 puppies per daily program, so every dog receives the attention, guidance, and support they need.
Because at this stage, the goal isn’t just to tire them out,
it’s to teach them how to grow into calm, confident dogs.

Puppies don’t just benefit from structure, they depend on it.
The early months of your puppy’s life are critical. This is when confidence, social skills, and behaviour patterns are formed, and inconsistent exposure can lead to long-term challenges.
At The Belly Rub Club, puppies are required to attend on a consistent schedule of at least 1–2 days per week. Regular attendance allows them to build familiarity, develop confidence, and form positive associations with both people and other dogs.
We do not offer casual puppy care. Early development requires consistency, structure, and the right environment to support long-term results.
It’s normal for puppies to take time to adjust, but consistency is what allows them to settle faster and get the most out of each session. Without regular exposure, puppies are more likely to feel overwhelmed, unsure, or unable to progress.
A consistent routine not only supports your puppy’s development now, but sets the foundation for a calm, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog.

Puppy FAQ’s
-
Not at all - this is actually the most important time.
Puppies go through a critical socialisation window between 8–16 weeks. Positive experiences during this stage help them grow into calm, confident adult dogs.
We take every precaution to keep your pup safe, but delaying socialisation can lead to long-term fear, anxiety, or behavioural issues.
That’s why we focus on gentle exposure, age-appropriate play, and a clean, controlled environment -so your pup learns safely and happily.
-
To keep every puppy safe, happy, and healthy, please ensure yours is:
Healthy & Ready: In good overall health and feeling their best.
Vaccinated: At least 10 days since their first C5 shot.
Protected: Up‑to‑date on flea, tick, and worm treatments.
People‑Friendly: Comfortable around new humans.
Dog‑Friendly: Happy to meet and play with other pups.
Not sure if your pup checks all the boxes? Just drop us a line—we’re here to help!
-
We know young pups need extra care, that’s why we:
Start Indoors: Puppies start indoors & stay in a dedicated, area that’s cleaned & disinfected daily.
Gradual Outdoor Access: When comfortable to head outside, they move to a fully contained outdoor area and never mixed with adult dogs unless they are ready and totally comfortable.
Controlled Environment: Unlike park‑based programs, our on‑site facilities dramatically reduce infection risk.
Because peace of mind means knowing your puppy is protected - inside and out.

To join our Puppy Program, pups are required to attend on a consistent schedule of at least 1–2 days per week. A regular schedule helps reduce stress, builds confidence, and gives your dog a sense of structure they find deeply reassuring. We do not offer casual puppy care.
Coming on the same days each week also means your pup will get to know us, and make lasting friendships with a familiar group of dogs—leading to calmer drop-offs and happier pick-ups.
Safety first, Always.
Worried about the unpredictability of dog parks or uncontrolled environments? You’re not alone, and it’s exactly why our entire approach is built around safety, structure, and control.
At The Belly Rub Club, all dogs are cared for within a secure, purpose-built facility designed specifically for small dogs. Our environment allows for controlled group sizes, structured routines, and consistent supervision, removing the risks that come with unpredictable, high-stimulation settings.
Every dog undergoes a temperament assessment prior to joining, ensuring they are placed into suitable, well-matched groups. Our team is trained in dog behaviour, handling, and pet first aid, with active supervision maintained at all times.
We focus on more than just physical safety, we prioritise emotional safety as well. Through structured enrichment, guided socialisation, and intentional rest, we create a balanced environment that supports calm, stable behaviour and long-term development.
Because safety shouldn’t be left to chance.
At The Belly Rub Club, it’s built into everything we do.
Because you shouldn’t have to hope your dog is safe.
You should know they are.
